The chart

Size Width Length Chest fits
S 55 cm 71 cm 86 - 94 cm
M 58 cm 73 cm 94 - 102 cm
L 61 cm 75 cm 102 - 110 cm
XL 64 cm 77 cm 110 - 118 cm
2XL 67 cm 79 cm 118 - 126 cm

How to measure

  • Width: armpit seam to armpit seam, shirt laid flat, not stretched.
  • Length: from the highest point of the shoulder down to the hem.

The easiest method: take a t-shirt you already like, lay it flat, measure it, and compare with the table. It beats any morphology chart.

Which size to take

The cut is oversized with dropped shoulders. The chart above is the garment, not your body: a size L is built to fall loose on a 102 to 110 cm chest.

  • You want the intended oversized fit: take your usual size.
  • You want it closer to the body: take one size down.
  • You want it very wide, worn long: take one size up. Beware, the length grows with the width.

Between two sizes

Take the smaller one. The cut is already generous, and the fabric is a heavy 220 gsm jersey that holds its shape rather than collapsing.

After washing

The cotton is pre-shrunk. Washed at 30 degrees without a tumble dryer, the shirt keeps its measurements. Hot water and a dryer will shrink it, as with any organic cotton.
