Why 220 gsm
Below 180 gsm a tee goes translucent after a few washes and loses its shape at the shoulder. At 220 the jersey stands on its own, which is what an oversized cut needs: the volume has to come from the pattern, not from the body underneath.
Why the seal stays small
A chest logo turns a garment into a billboard for the label. So the front carries one thing, the size of a pocket: the tab icon, the chapter number, the name. It tells you which chapter you are wearing and stops there. Everything worth reading is on the back, at reading size, for whoever is behind you.
Why no sewn collar label
Because it scratches, and because everyone cuts it off eventually. The size is printed directly inside the collar.
Measurements
Every size is published as a flat measurement of the garment, not as a body chart. The full table is on the measurements page.
Care
Inside out, 30 degrees, no tumble dryer, never iron directly on the print. Done that way the print outlives the shirt.
